W2ID – Web 2.0 for People with Intellectual Disabilities – was a 2 year multilateral partnership project funded by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). The project was led by Rix Research Centre @ UEL and delivered in partnership with five European organisations working the field of intellectual disabilities.

W2ID aimed to make it easier for people with intellectual disabilities to participate in Web 2.0 activity, creating content and using tools like blogs, social networks and wiki websites to improve their employability, inclusion and active citizenship and enrich their lives. Outcomes included the easy build Klikin web package, European Resource Hub and learning system.
