London Games Research Group
The LGRG is an unfunded, casual collective. Meetings are informal. There are presentations but the emphasis is on discussion, research problems and works-in-progress. Whoever volunteers to present chooses the location and the timing for the meeting. Participants include students, industry people, academics, artists etc. LGRG meetings are publicised on the London Game Research Group’s mailing list (managed by Siobhan - email four at nucleus.com) and sometimes through the Games Network list (DiGRA). History - John Salisbury and Siobhan Thomas met at the DiGRA seminar in mid 2005 in Bristol and came up with the idea of a local and informal game research network and asked me to join as co-convener.
