PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES

are at the centre of Project APPLE - like other media advocacy projects, APPLE aims to democratise production processes by converting young people with learning disabilities from passive consumers to active producers.

The VLE will be trialed and developed with young people with learning disabilities alongside PROFESSIONALS working in learning disability communities and PERSONAL SUPPORTERS in a range of schools, colleges, employment and leisure centres. In addition, the PROJECT TEAM form a fourth constituency group within this project.
